We are Artists!

Art is a much-celebrated subject at St Paul's and we aim to inspire all of our children to see themselves as artists. We have a dedicated art room allowing our children to fully immerse themselves in the subject. Every child has a school sketchbook to record their artistic process. Throughout their time here at St Paul’s, the children are provided with opportunities to develop their skills in different areas including drawing, painting, mixed media and printing using a range of media and tools. Children will learn about a wide variety of artists and have the opportunity to critique their work as well as use it to inspire their own pieces. Children will also develop an understanding of the history of art, craft and design and will learn how to relate what they have learnt to their own work.
