Art

Art is a much celebrated subject at St Paul's. As well as weekly art lessons we use our art skills across the curriculum.  Planning is age appropriate; we follow the National Curriculum. Children have opportunities to record their observations in a range of ways from direct experience and to work from memory and imagination. They explore a wide range of tools, techniques and materials. Children will also develop an understanding of the history of art, craft and design and will learn how to relate what they have learnt to their own work. Every child has a school sketchbook to record their artistic process.
