Year 1

A warm welcome to Year One.  As well as our spacious classroom with a garden view, we have a newly refurbished outside area which is solely for our Year 1 class with a trim trail, gazebo and decking area that leads down to our mini wildlife area. We take trips out exploring our local environment whilst also being lucky enough to have a covered outdoor play area when the weather is less kind. We encourage the children to explore, question, have fun and ownership of their learning and to share in each other’s successes. We take trips to the Booth museum, Brighton Museum, Brighton seaside and volks railway to name but a few. We also have a visit from our local fire service.

Our class teacher is Miss Noel and our Teaching Assistant is Miss Davis.
